Is content in YorkSpace published by York University? Can I download them in my digital library?

Answer

YorkSpace provides open access content only.

YorkSpace primarily serves as a repository for the access and long-term preservation of publications authored by members of the York University community, provided that the content is permitted to be made openly accessible. Additional details are outlined in the author licence agreement : https://www.library.yorku.ca/web/collections/yorkspace/yorkspace-license/

As indicated in the agreement, authors retain ownership and copyright, if any, of their works after deposit in YorkSpace. As a result, we can only grant permission to harvest the metadata and to provide access by linking to the item’s permanent URI (handle), rather than by hosting or redistributing the full content.
