I received the error message, “User does not have remote access.” What do I do?

Answer

When a patron receives this error message, it could mean that their library account is inactive or expired, or they are part of a user group (Alumni, Extramural Reader, etc.) that does not have remote access to eResources.  

 

If library account = expired, then YU Card 

If library account = inactive, then YU Card 

If external user group, then access eResources in house using York University public computers.
