York Alumni Card Holders

Get a York library card at the circulation desk at the Scott Library and get 75 per cent off the price by showing your plastic or digital York alumni card – only $25 per year!

As alumni, your York Libraries privileges include:

• borrowing from our stacks (exceptions include reserve collections, Maps, and Resource Sharing)
• up to 15 books checked out at one time
• a 14-day loan period
• up to two renewals on items checked out

Due to vendor licensing agreements, alumni borrowers do not have remote access to periodical databases and most electronic journals and ebooks.

Alumni can get access to electronic resources and online databases when they come into a branch of the York University Libraries (Scott, Steacie, Bronfman & Frost Libraries) and ask for a 'guest account' for the day by showing current photo identification.  Alumni must abide by our licensing agreements and the Acceptable Use Guidelines for Electronic Resources.
