What if I can't find my item in Omni?

Answer

If you can't find an item in Omni, there are a few options:

a) If it says "Not available locally," click on "Get it from another library." Note that you must be logged into Omni to see the "Get it" link. Complete the request form, making sure you choose a Preferred York University Pickup location.

b) If it says "No records found," complete a blank request form to initiate a request for through interlibrary loan. Include as much information about the item as you can on the form.

More information about requesting material from other libraries can be found at Making an Omni Request.

c) If it says "No records found" and you would like YorkU Libraries to purchase the item for our collection, please complete the Suggestion for Purchase Form.
