I need my students to access a specific print-only resource. How can I share this virtually?

Firstly, you may want to double-check that the resource is, in fact, only available in print format. Consult our Finding Scholarly Materials Online Guide to see if you can identify the item you need in online format. See especially this section of the guide which addresses search strategies for identifying specific items of interest.

Where it exists, the Libraries may be able to purchase an electronic copy of required texts which can then be linked from your eClass site using stable permalinks. Please email the Contact Content & Analysis Department to inquire about purchasing an e-book (yul_cda@yorku.ca.) A member of their team will attempt to acquire the item and will follow up with you as soon as possible.  Note that e-textbooks are generally not available for purchase by the Libraries.

If the resource only exists in print format, it may be possible to provide you with a scan of this item, where this exists in the Libraries' collections and is covered by York University Fair Dealing Guidelines. See more here on Digitization of Course Readings.
