Are York libraries open to the public?

Answer

Yes. Members of the public can come to the library and look through our stacks and use items at the library.  Members of the public can also access computers with a guest account upon presentation of current/unexpired photo ID such as Passport, Drivers Licence, please note: Health Cards are not accepted as photo ID. Borrowing privileges require purchasing a library card. Restrictions apply.
