Q. Do I need to make an appointment to get writing help in the library?

Answer

No! The drop-in writing help available in the Learning Commons (on the second floor of Scott Library) does not require an appointment and is approximately 15 minutes on a first come first served basis.  However, if you require a longer 50 minute appointment, you may register using the link below.

York University’s Writing Department (Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies) offers individual consultations designed to help you improve your writing. Quick help (about 15 minutes) is available during the term in the Learning Commons!

If you require more help you can register for 50-minute appointments http://writing-centre.writ.laps.yorku.ca/services/one-to-one-writing-support/ with a writing instructor in the Writing Centre in S311 Ross Building. Phone : 416-736-5134 or email  lapswrit@yorku.ca
